Installation Notes         

Rover V7.1 SP9 includes all of the plug-ins and changes for Rover that have been updated since the release of V7.1. 

Uninstalling Tracer Summit can cause problems compiling TGP programs in Rover.  If you experience any problems compiling TGP, re-register TraneCPL.dll.  Paste the following into a Windows Run Dialog:  regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trane Shared\TGPEditor\TraneCPL.dll"

Uninstalling Tracer Summit can also cause this registration dialog to appear: 

“The Registration wizard has encountered an error.  Please contact your customer service representative for further assistance.”

If you experience this problem, re-register BASComReg.dll which can be located either at C:\Program Files\Tracer Summit\Bin or C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trane Shared\Registration.  Paste the following into a Windows Run Dialog:  regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Tracer Summit\Bin\BASComReg.dll" or regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trane Shared\Registration\BASComReg.dll". Paste the one where BASComReg.dll is currently installed.

Rover V7.1 SP3 includes the following changes:

·       General Rover changes

·         Added support for Group RCF downloads.  The following Rover plug-ins were modified to support this feature AH540/541, LCI-R, LCI-V, MP501, MP503, MP580/581, VV550/VV551, ZN510/511 (Program ID 80002A5500030407 only), ZN517, ZN520/521 (Program ID 80002A5500030406 and 80002A5500030404 only), ZN523, ZN524, and ZN525.

For Tracer ZN523 and ZN525, all controllers will be reset to the Master/Slave parameter value of the RCF file that is being downloaded to the group.

·        Added support for Standard user accounts (non-administrator).  The Rover installation program still requires a user to be an administrator to correctly install Rover and all service packs. 

·      Rover V7.1 SP3 supports Windows 7.0.

·       Updated SerialGear drivers are now being installed.

Rover V7.1 SP2 includes the following changes:

·         Tracer VV550/551 Image 1.5.6 was accidentally released in Rover V7.1 SP1.  The released image was supposed to be 1.5.7.  Do not use image 1.5.6 because it will ignore all communicated values and will revert back to use local values.  Any Tracer VV550 controllers that have been upgraded to 1.5.6 need to be upgraded to 1.5.7, which is included in SP2.
