Installation Notes         

For new versions of TechView, installation can be accomplished by running the installation from the new version on top of the existing version (example, upgrading from V11.0 SP3 to V12.1 would be accomplished by installing V12.1 on top of V11.0 SP3).

All previous releases of TechView were complete application installs.  Beginning with V11.00 SP1 we are now releasing service packs that can be installed over the existing V11.00 application. (Do NOT uninstall V12.1 before installing V12.1 SP3.)

Trane TechView 12.1 SP3 includes the following changes:

General TechView software changes:

•       Added permissions to run TechView software as a non-Administrator user.

•       Changes made to database to support CGAM, GlbScroll, RTAC, RTHD, and RTWD

•       Numerous enhancements made to TrendView.

•       Updated ASHRAE report to include date & time on the front page.

•       Added Serial Gear USB drivers to support Windows 7.0 and 64-bit operating systems.

•    Updated GlobalScroll translations for French strings.

•    Updated language files for Dynaview translations.

•    Updated TechView to send all email messages using Outlook email editor.

•    Updated GlobalScroll Service Documents to add the new 700 pressure sensor for     R410a.

•    Changed default LCI-C Type setting to select Extension on the RTAC Custom tab.

·         Release of CGAM MP version 4.00.

GlbScroll

·         Release of GlbScroll MP version 8.04.

RTAC

·         Release of RTAC MP version 38.02.

RTHD

·         Release of RTHD MP version 15.03.
