Rover V7.2 SP2 Internal use only readme:

This version of the readme is intended for internal use only.  Please do not release this version of the readme to your customers.  A general readme has been provided in the Rover/Bin for their use.

Installation Notes         

Rover V7.2 SP2 includes all of the plug-ins and changes for Rover that has been updated since the release of V7.2 

Uninstalling Tracer Summit can cause problems compiling TGP programs in Rover.  If you experience any problems compiling TGP, re-register TraneCPL.dll.  Paste the following into a Windows Run Dialog:  regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Trane Shared\TGPEditor\TraneCPL.dll"

Uninstalling Tracer Summit can also cause this registration dialog to appear: 

“The Registration wizard has encountered an error.  Please contact your customer service representative for further assistance.”

If you experience this problem, reinstall Rover by doing a repair. Double click the uninstall.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rover folder or uninstall Rover in the control panel>Programs and Features. Choose repair and hit next.

 

 

Rover V7.2 SP2 includes the following changes:

The following features and capabilities are added for Rover Service Tool version 7.2.

·        LonTalk Service Tool

·        Fixed ZN520 configuration issue where after setting a fancoil to 4 pipe, the configuration showed it was 2 pipe.

·        Fixed Comm4 issue where a VAV configuration could not change occupied setpoints due to being outside the limits.

·        New Controller Images

·        Tracer LCI-R(X) 8.0.0 - supports E flex variable speed compressors for Reliatel units.

·        Compatible with UC800 with an LCI-C

·        RTAF configured for Glycol Free – free cooling and partial load efficiency using an RTW image.

·        GVAF using an RTW image.

·        RTAF configured for total heat recovery using an RTW image.

Rover V7.2 SP1 includes the following changes:

The following features and capabilities are added for Rover Service Tool version 7.2.

·        LonTalk Service Tool

·        Added a Connect/Disconnect option (under Group dropdown) for easier access to the Interface Connections panel.

·        Added dialog for loss of TCP session during the loss of communication to an SC.

·        Fixed rounding error for LCI-R DAC building space pressure.

·        Fixed entering water sampling issue for ZN520 so checkbox displays accurately.

·        Fixed VV550 fan control issue so Rover will display status correctly for an override.

·        Populated CV plus TGP folder to contain the correct communications and SetpointsandMode TGP’s for SCC.

·        Windows 10 is now supported.

·        New Controller Images

·        Tracer LCI-I(X) 2.18.6 - supports new staging capacity for Intellipak.

·        Intellipak CSC is now supported on LCI-I (X)

The following features and capabilities are added for Rover Service Tool version 7.2.

·        Added feature to remotely discover LON devices connected to an SC.

·        Note: Tracer SC image needs to be at or above version 4.2

·        Note: To use the debug mode in TGP editor for MP580’s, the subnet of Tracer SC needs to be 255

·        Note: Only English characters are allowed in Tracer TU names when importing the facility files from TU to Rover. This rule also applies for adding Tracer SC names when setting up SC’s for remote connection.

·        Note: Also the name cannot exceed 50 characters.

·        Note: For editing TGP’s on an MP580, DSN subnets have to match between the Tracer SC and MP580. If they don’t match, the TGP editor will fail to upload during the startup of the program editor.

·        New Echelon Open ldv 5.0.

·        New Controller Images

·        Tracer LCI-R(X) 7.0.24

·        Fixed a dehumidification issue for single compressor Precedent.

·        Win 8.1 is now supported.

·        Note: For proper functionality for Rover, .NET Framework 3.5.1 needs to be installed.

·        To install .NET Framework 3.5.1 go to “Turn Windows feature on or off” and enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1
